about

The trio Lytle/Cartwright/Moss (aka Meltable Snaps It) was invited to record at WXXI in Rochester, New York as part of their "Soundscape" project, a sound experimental workshop for artists and composers, funded, I believe, by National Public Radio.

While we were there we were encouraged to record some solo work as well.
This is the solo elewhale portion by Michael Lytle. Michael plays clarinet and bass clarinet in these solos, plus both and electronic music in the multi-track "Kali's Blues". There is no contra-bass clarinet in this set.
